Farrah Ferriell, Consultant

Farrah Ferriell, a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Certfied Professional Coach (CPC), and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) has dedicated her career to social justice and our friends and neighbors who experience marginalization. It all started in Bowling Green, KY, where Farrah was born and raised and the oldest of five kids and the only girl. Farrah took the leadership skills from home and completed three degrees from Western Kentucky University (BA in English, Writing; MA in Folk Studies and Graduate Certificate in Women’s Studies). Shortly after graduate school, Farrah taught in the Women’s and Gender Studies Program at WKU and determined soon after her heart belonged in non-for-profit work to undo the injustice studied and discussed in the classroom.
With more than 22 years dedicated to non-profit administration and a concentration in philanthropy and revenue development, Farrah is responsible for personally raising and leading teams that have raised more than $300M and has had an integral hand in mission and service expansion. More importantly, Farrah serves as a connector between a mission creating change and volunteers, donors, business owners and advocates trying to make a difference.
Farrah has worked with globally recognized organizations including Volunteers of America, Louisville Ballet and National Council for Jewish Women among many other regional and locally based non-profits.
Farrah lives in Louisville, KY with her daughter and beagle-hound.
